Traveling can be quite difficult and tedious, and we understand that completely, so here is a list of our most frequently asked questions to better help serve you when you come stay with us
YES, our condo has a DIRECT OCEANFRONT location. It is only 25 feet from the shore! You will be amazed by the wonderful views of the ocean from the condo and your private lanai. On the horizon are the islands of Lana'i and Moloka'i. You really can't get any closer to the ocean.
It depends — We call it a seasonal beach. Usually we have a small sandy beach, but the size varies with the ocean conditions.
The condo is not air conditioned. We have tropical ceiling fans in all rooms. We think it's more enjoyable and tropical to keep the condo open, smell the fragrant tropical air and hear the ocean instead of the roar of an air conditioner. Our condo is an end unit with excellent cross-ventilation since we have windows on 3 sides. Our ceiling is also insulated and most windows have UV coating. The tradewinds do an excellent job of keeping us cool. Lahaina, Kaanapali and Wailea, are warmer and do not have the cooling tradewinds that we have. A/C is nice to have in those locations. The difference in location makes a surprising difference in temperature. It's never been a problem for us. And there's always the pool and the ocean for a quick refreshing break.
The condo is delivered clean with fresh linens, towels, and beach towels to accommodate your group. There will also be dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, hand soaps, toilet tissue, paper towels, and garbage bags. These items are not replenished.
The kitchen is fully-stocked with dishes, silverware, cutlery, tools, pots and pans, and utensils. There is an oven, cooktop, microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator/freezer and blender. All you need to bring is food and condiments.
No, but mid-stay cleanings can be arranged for a nominal cost with advance notice. The condo will be cleaned just before you arrive and after you leave.
Taxis, shuttles, and a local bus make it is possible to get by without a car, but to take full advantage of all the sights that Maui offers, we recommend renting a car.
Each condo has one free assigned space. There are 2 visitor spaces in our lot, available on a first-come first-served short-term basis. You will find your Parking Permit in the condo when you arrive. There is street parking in the residential area just above the condo if you have an additional car.
This one’s easy!… from your lanai, your dining table, or the shoreline.
Yes, we do. We have our own private password-protected wifi network. Instructions are in the guest information book in the condo. Our wifi is provided to guests of 226 free of charge.

Driving to Kaanapali or Kapalua takes about 5 minutes. Lahaina is about a 10 minute drive.
Times Market in Honokowai; Napili Market in Napili Plaza; Safeway at Lahaina Cannery; Foodland in Lahaina; Costco in Kahului (just after exiting the airport).
Yes, and we highly recommend that you visit and sample the local fruits, vegetables baked goods, and flowers. The market is held Mon-Wed-Fri, 7:00-11:00 am, in the parking lot across from Honokowai Park. During other times, they have an indoor market.
Yes, there are many, ranging from fine dining to fast-food at McDonalds, as well as choices for pizza, delis, and great seafood. Some are within walking distance and others are only a short drive away. Lahaina and Kaanapali offer a wide variety of dining options. The nearest Starbucks is in the Cannery Shopping Center, in case you were wondering, but there are several other local places to get coffee nearby.
There are several shopping areas in the Honokowai/Kahana area. Whaler’s Village in Kaanapali, Kapalua, and Lahaina have many fine shops.
January through April are the best months to see the humpback whales. The first ones usually arrive mid-December and most are gone by early May. Our condo is a prime spot to see them….either from inside your condo or from the shore.
Great golf can be found at Kapalua and Kaanapali…both only a 5 minute drive.
Here are some suggestions:
Really not much... Leave used towels and linen in the condo. (A bathroom floor is a good spot.) We would appreciate it if you would take out all the trash and load and run the dishwasher. Lock the doors, turn off the lights and fans. Then take one last look at the ocean and start making plans to return again.
